A corrections officer for the Ulster County jail and a Saugerties woman were charged Thursday with felonies, accused of helping to smuggle tobacco, marijuana and Suboxone into the jail, the Ulster County Sheriff's Office says. According to detectives from the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, the county's corrections department developed information that a woman was passing drugs to a jail guard, who would in turn smuggle it into the jail.
