An Accord, New York, man who killed a 10-year-old dachshund that belonged to his former fiancee, was sentenced to jail by Judge Donald A. Williams in Ulster County Court on Thursday, reports the Daily Freeman. Michael A. Oramas, 32, pleaded guilty to aggravated cruelty to animals in October, and has been remanded to the Ulster County Jail for the next six months.
