The Ulster County Sheriff's office said the pickup truck, driven by Ronald Myroniuk, 58, of Cottekill, struck a tree near the Tan House Brook Road intersection around 3:30 p.m. Myroniuk had to be extricated by firefighters from Cottekill, High Falls, Stone Ridge and Marbletown who responded to the scene.
