Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court , entered August 12, 2014 in Ulster County, which, among other things, denied defendant's motion to vacate a default judgment entered against him. Plaintiff rented an apartment in a building owned by defendant and allegedly fell at the premises in October 2008 when a porch railing broke.
