Even though he was arraigned on a murder charge just last Friday, police had their eyes on Gilberto Nunez as the key suspect in the death of Thomas Kolman within days of the 2011 homicide. The trail from the death to Nunez's arraignment also lays out why the Orange County District Attorney's Office is prosecuting the case instead of the office of Ulster County District Attorney of Holley Carnright.
