Kingston man faces felony weapon possession charge after traffic stop

KINGSTON A Kingston man is facing two felony charges after Ulster County Sheriff's deputies stopped his car for failing to signal and yield the right of way at Broadway and Franklin Street. The sheriff's office reported Sunday that on Friday William C. Gulick, 53, of Kingston, was stopped at 9 p.m. He appeared to be driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, and he was in possession of a dagger and an undisclosed quantity of cocaine, which he tried to discard and conceal, the sheriff's office said.
