Police say two people have been rescued from the roof of their partially-submerged vehicle after it got swept away by a rain-swollen creek in the Catskills. The Ulster County Sheriff's Office says Thursday that deputies responded around 9 p.m. Wednesday to a 911 report of two people stranded in a vehicle in Esopus Creek in the town of Marbletown, on the southeastern border of Catskill Park.
