Man gets 2-6 years for fatal drunk-driving crash

A Cottekill man was sentenced Thursday to two to six years in state prison after he pleaded guilty to plowing through an intersection while drunk and high last September, killing a Kingston grandmother who was going to pick up dinner for her family. Tyler Grable, 23, was sentenced by Acting County Court Judge Richard Mott in Ulster County Court after pleading guilty May 1 to second-degree manslaughter, second-degree vehicular manslaughter and first-degree vehicular assault.
