"Much of the roads and bridges that we talk about were built and designed 30, 40, 50 years ago and they're now coming to the end of their useful life and the reality is additional funding now is critical," said Ulster County Executive Mike Hein. "Ulster County itself owns 154 bridges, that doesn't include bridges that are owned by towns, the city or village bridges as well," said Hein.
