High Falls man charged with threatening to fire gun at government office

The Ulster County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the county's Office of Veterans Affairs at the Ulster County Department of Social Services just before 10 a.m. Tuesday after office personnel there reported that the man was threatening to fire a gun at a government office. The sheriff's office said deputies took Charles DeYoung, 41, of High Falls, into custody a short time later at an address in the Town of Marlborough.
