Ulster County Executive Mike Hein has signed an agreement with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection that could open 11.5 miles of land along the north shore of the Ashokan Reservoir for a trail. The approval sets up the legal framework to build a trail from Basin Road in West Hurley out to Route 28A in Boiceville.
