A Town of Saugerties man was being held without bail at Ulster County Jail Saturday, charged with felony DWI after, police said, he was operating a riding lawn mower while intoxicated on Route 9W. Town of Saugerties police said after a STOP DWI patrol spotted the Zero Turn lawn mower traveling on Route 9W Fridayin the Barclay Heights section, they stopped the vehicle and questioned the driver, identified as Hong Luong, 45, of 106 Joseph Drive, Saugerties.
