An 18-year-old Upstate New York man was hospitalized early Friday after he was shot by a police officer responding to a report of a break-in at a Hudson Valley bank. The burglary suspect, Alex Jeffries of Kingston in Ulster County, was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
