David Reese suffered from a delusional disorder since 2011 and couldn't understand that his actions were wrong when he confronted co-worker Aron Thomas with a gun last February, according to a psychiatrist called by his defense lawyer Friday. Reese, 54, is on trial in Ulster County Court, accused of walking into his job of 16 years at New York City's Department of Environmental Protection building in Midtown Kingston and shooting to death Olivebridge co-worker Thomas, 33, sometime before 6:45 a.m. on Feb. 3, 2014.
