A former paramedic has been sentenced to 13 years in state prison for stealing items from upstate New York homes where he had treated patients while responding to emergencies. The Daily Freeman of Kingston reports that prosecutors in Ulster County say 48-year-old German Lobaton of Spring Glen was sentenced last Friday, more than two months after he pleaded guilty to felony burglary charges.
