Assembly candidates on hot seat at Ulster breakfast

With two weeks left until Election Day, six candidates for state Assembly took questions Tuesday morning at an Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce breakfast. The candidates, who together cover varied swaths of Ulster, Sullivan and Orange counties, used the time to rub elbows with potential voters, tout their accomplishments and justify their positions on some hot-button topics.Assemblyman Kevin Cahill, D-Kingston, said education is key for both economic and job growth.
