Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Ulster County , rendered September 4, 2013, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree , criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree. In 2012, after having been introduced to defendant by a confidential informant , an undercover police officer purchased cocaine from defendant during five separate controlled buys.
