Weather triggers late openings, many school closings Tuesday

A winter storm forced most public schools in Ulster and Sullivan counties to close on Tuesday, and more possible bad weather has superintendents on edge about Wednesday classes.  In Orange County, only Minisink Valley, Port Jervis, Pine Bush and Valley Central closed their doors.The rest opted to delay the start of classes.
