The wildfire that has been raging in Ulster County since the weekend is continuing and the governor is adding another 70 people to the firefighting effort there. Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today issued an update and deployed additional state personnel to boost fire suppression operations for the wildfire located at Sam's Point Preserve near Ellenville in Ulster County.
