With at least two high-profile Republicans already competing for the 19th Congressional District and little obvious activity on the other side, all 11 county chairs of the district's Democratic Party are seeking to draft Ulster County Executive Mike Hein. "Your ability to get the job done for everyday people in your County - rejecting gridlock and cutting through partisanship - is exactly what we need not only in the Hudson Valley, but also at every level of government,'' stated a letter, dated Thursday, from all county chairmen and chairwomen.
