While Democrats in the Third Judicial District prepare to fight it out Thursday for the nomination to run for state Supreme Court, the GOP is poised to unite behind Greene County attorney Lisa Fisher, Ulster County Republican Chairman Roger Rascoe said. The GOP is slated to convene its judicial convention at the same time and location Friday as the Democrats - 1 p.m. in the old Albany County courthouse.
