A Napanoch man has been charged with grand larceny after the Ulster County Sheriff's Office said he tried to use a woman's credit card to bail himself out of the Ulster County Jail last month. The sheriff's office said Dustin T. Carmichael, 28, was being held at the jail June 7 on an unrelated Village of Ellenville charge when jail officials received an electronic notification that a woman had placed a credit card transaction for $3,255 to bail Carmichael out of jail.
