A Kingston man remained behind bars on Wednesday after he assaulted Ulster County Sheriff's deputies and falsely reported an emergency, according to the Sheriff's Office. Deputies said they responded at 911 call at the Mirror Lake Mobile Home Park in the Town of Esopus on Saturday because Robert Kovacs, 27, of Kingston reported that someone was trying to break into a home.
