Whitecliff Vineyard owner breaks a barrier

Michael Migliore, owner of Whitecliff Vineyard & Winery in Ulster County , has accomplished something no other Hudson Valley grower has ever done. In a departure from the usual selection of someone from the Finger Lakes or Long Island's North Fork, he was named "Grower of the Year" as part of the recent annual Unity Awards from the New York Wine and Grape Foundation .
