Authorities say a Long Island man had to be rescued by police after he walked away from his daughter's Hudson Valley home and got lost in the middle of last Sunday's snowstorm. State police say the woman called Ulster County 911 around 7:30 p.m. Sunday to report that there had been a family dispute three hours earlier and her 60-year-old father had walked out of her home in Highland, 70 miles north of New York City.
