Democratic 19th Congressional District candidate Zephyr Teachout's campaign scrambled attorneys Tuesday night just more than an hour before polls closed amid reports of affidavit ballot issues at three Ulster County polling sites. Republican County Elections Commissioner Thomas Turco said by phone that perhaps two dozen voters at most were affected when they attempted to vote, were told they were not registered and then were not told by poll workers that they could vote by affidavit ballot.
