A Port Ewen man has been arrested on charges that he had sexual contact with an underage girl, state police said Friday. Covert was arraigned in Town of Saugerties Court on felony rape and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child charges and sent to jail on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
