VIDEO: Four-alarm fire damages renovated home in Plattekill

Multiple fire companies from Ulster and Orange counties responded to the scene. The smoke could be seen from the Thruway. Neighbors said the multiple-dwelling building had not been occupied for about a month, but eight or ten people had lived there previously.
