Ulster County legislators approved a controversial resolution Tuesday night to offer up $75,000 of county money to the state Assembly to entice lawmakers to come back for a special session before Nov. 30. In exchange, the Assembly would need to pass a 1 percent sales tax bill that many Ulster County elected officials have been trying to get.
