An Upstate New York man has been charged with homicide after allegedly striking and killing a bicyclist while driving drunk on Thursday. The Ulster County Sheriff's Office said that John J. Ronk, 40, of Port Ewen in the Hudson Valley , was driving a 2004 Nissan X-Terra while under the influence of alcohol around 7:30 p.m. in the Town of Esopus when he struck a man on a bicycle.
