An eighth Democrat has joined the field of challengers seeking to oust Republican Rep. John Faso in the 19th Congressional District in next year's election. David Clegg, a 64-year-old Ulster County resident with a personal-injury law practice in Kingston, has filed for candidacy in the 19th district and will hold a formal campaign kickoff on Sunday.
