State police charge couple in welfare fraud

Danielle C. Conklin, 47, and Timothy W. Conklin, 44, were charged with third-degree welfare fraud and first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, both felonies. The arrests were a result of a joint investigation by the Ulster County Department of Social Services and state police.
