Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle on 9W in Saugerties

According to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, Patrick J. Poliseno, 67, of Saugerties, was walking across Route 9W near the Route 32 intersection in Saugerties at 5:05 p.m. when he was struck by a northbound vehicle driven by Peter S. Gage, 55, also of Saugerties.
