Water in 18 Ulster County Facilities Sampled Had Elevated Lead Levels

After hearing of the trouble lead contaminated water had caused in places like Flint, Mich., and Hoosick Falls, the Ulster County Department of Health wanted to be proactive. The department hired an independent lab to test the water in 26 of the county's buildings for lead.
