Westchester, Dutchess Among Counties With Highest Drug Overdose Deaths

Four Hudson Valley counties ranked among 15 statewide with more than 20 deaths involving heroin between 2009 and 2013: Westchester County with 119 deaths, Dutcehss County with 76 Orange County with 37 and Ulster County with 22 deaths. A new report concludes that Dutchess and Westchester counties reported some of New York state's highest rates of drug-related deaths.
