He was charged with the felonies of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, both felonies. He was arraigned in Ulster town court and sent to Ulster County Jail on $25,000 cash bail pending further court action.

Saugerties man accused of raping victim under 15-years-old

Officials say the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center, which is comprised of member's from the New York State Police, Ulster County Sheriff's Office, Child Protective Services and the Ulster County District Attorney's Office arrested 20-year-old Justin Ross for Rape in the Second Degree, two counts of Sexual Misconduct and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. An investigation of sexual contact between Ross and a child less than 15-years-old resulted in his arrest.

Mark Kasmir Jr., 42, of Kingston remained behind bars at the Ulster County Jail on Tuesday after allegedly assaulting a nurse at a hospital last week. According to Kingston police, the attack occurred at HealthAlliance Hospital's Mary's Avenue campus on Friday.
